Rebecca A. Clark is an established international fine artist with
over 20 years of experience in the professional field in New York
City. Her body of work is composed of figurative, neo classical
bronze sculptures and commissioned bronze sculpture works in a variety
of themes. Large scale commissioned projects include the monumental
18ft tall bronze sculpture titled "Battling Stallions"
for the prestige gated community "Le Chevalier" in West
Linn Oregon, and the heroic 9ft tall ballet sculpture titled "Arabesque"
which is publicly showcased at the Oregon Ballet Theatre headquarters,
in Portland Oregon.
Rebecca was born an artist. Her family heritage extends back through
a long lineage of sculptors, architects, painters, inventors, musical
conductors, writers and explorers. In 1981, at the age of 17, Rebecca
moved to New York City to pursue a career in fine art at the Parsons
School of Design.
Since then she has primarily focused on creating
fine bronze sculpture works and has provided her sculptures for
important charity organizations across the nation. In 1998, she
studied oil painting at the New York Academy of Art, while creating
oil paintings depicting the nude, equestrian themes and portrait
commissions for select collectors.
In October 2001, She returned to the West Coast
to continue to create masterful sculptural works that embody exquisite
beauty and originality. For her gallery collection, Rebecca is creating
a new series of elegant sculptures that narrate classical themes
with unique iconic interpretations. Her commissioned projects, for
private collectors, depict diverse concepts and range in size from
small bronze portraits and sensuous figurative sculptures to dynamic
heroic sized monuments. She brings a stunning visual presence, signature
style, and excellence to her projects.
