America's Cup Challenger the Shamrock V was designed by Charles E.Nicholson for Sir Thomas Lipton in 1930. Shamrock V has most recently been refitted by the famous yachtlady Elizabeth Meyer and is sailing worldwide for races and charter. One of her recent victories was during the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta 1999, were she raced against the 2 other remaining 1930's J Boats, Endeavour and Velsheda.
