The McEwan long nose playclub dates from the 1880s. With its brass sole plate it is hard wearing and ideal for experiencing the sweeping motion used to strike the ball with a long nose club (a modern ball can be used with this club). We include the leather face insert that used to be added to protect the softer wooden face of the club – early experiments with the trampoline effect!
