The Columbia Gorge is a special place known for stunning vistas, pristine landscape world famous windsurfing, and the premier grape growing region for the Northwest. Recently christened the Columbia Gorge AVA, the area is world famous for its wines.

Cathedral Ridge sits in a terrific location high on a ridge above the Columbia Gorge with Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams as a backdrop, and is the acknowledged premier winery for this area and the Northwest in general. It is the traditional prize winner for the region and is the most visited winery in the northwest.

With ideal micro-climates in the region, Cathedral Ridge boasts magnificent and lovingly tended grapes for which credit goes to the fabulous grape growers of the region such as John Bangsund, and others. Grape Harvesting and wine crafting begins onsite using time honored traditions. Our winemaker is Michael Sebastiani, a fourth generation winemaker who has an innate talent for creating magic in every bottle.
