The Luscious Reds pack features six of our popular, full bodied wines. This is an exclusive and limited selection for our patrons only. It is one of the finest collections of Reds in the Northwest. The six-pack proudly features the award winning 2006 Reserve Syrah, the 2006 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot. We also include a beautiful wooden wine caddy.
 

The 2006 was recently honored with a Bronze Medal from the 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition and a Gold Medal from the Seafood and Wine Festival in Newport, OR. This wine exemplifies the beauty that Syrah can achieve here in the Columbia Gorge wine growing region. Aged in the barrel for 20 months, this wine displays dark chocolate and coffee overtones with a rich and velvety body. Bangsund Vineyards is credited with the source of grapes.       
             

Recent Award: Gold Medal from the 2009 U.S. Professional Wine Buyers Competition! Only in the best of vintages and best growing conditions does a reserve wine emerge. 2006 was a truly exceptional vintage and this wine represents some of the best fruit grown in our region. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, our ‘06 Cab Reserve is a true expression of the consistent quality of the Bangsund Vineyard in The Dalles, OR. Aged in the barrel for 20 months, this wine is rich and bold displaying complexities of fruit, oak and tannin with a long and memorable finish.

 
             
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot - Dark berries, milk chocolate, and cassis on the nose followed by a smooth, balanced mouth feel & soft tannins on the finish make this a very approachable red wine. Our Cabernet/Merlot presents a more youthful approach to a red wine. The Merlot component adds bright fruit qualities, while the Cabernet tops it with richer fruit and "bursts" of tannin. The resulting blend is an exquisite array of full textures with wonderful fruit highlights.  
             
Our Beautiful Wine Caddy is warm and rich looking. Soft and easy to the touch as if waxed and polished by generations of housemaids. It holds six of your favorite vintages or the dividers can be removed to hold other treasures. Solid wood with Brass reinforced corners.
